Under Armour/Nike Compression

Postby Franz29 » Wed Aug 29, 2007 4:06 am

How about some underarmour/Nike compression type tops with the IKMF logo on it (same as the standard training tees). I wear these all the time under my shirts, but it would be good (on a hot day for example) to ditch the top layer and practice in the compression shirt alone.

That is a great idea! We have been looking for alternative fabrics and products. And it is great to know that we are on the right track.

We appreciate your ideas and it is nice to hear that you already use similar products in your training.

We have found one fabric in particular that has a sanitizing properties; it is an antimicrobial properties to remove the odors from the sweat as well as UV protection and moisture management.

So look out for it in coming months. Do you have any particular color combos that you would prefer or have an opinion on?

Black is a must of course , but I would also buy an olive compression shirt (with subdued logo).

Pretty sure other colors would sell well, but those would be the ones I would wear to class.

Thanks for the ideas. We just got back from a great convention and have found another supplier for this product. They are made in the USA and they are fantastic. So keep your eye out on the site we should have them in within the next few months, if all goes to plan.

What's the word on these? Did anything come of it? Summer will be here before we know it and a compression top with moisture wicking capabilities would be awesome.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we have moisture wicking training pants now available. They are super light for full movement and are antibacterial too to reduce odor. They feel awesome!

Hey, I agree. Would love to see these baselayers in the shop. As for colours, it would be great in black and white as well as grey. Camo would be cool too.

^^^This. I just checked the KravShop site, but I didn't see any rash guards or compression shirts available yet.

Hopefully soon...
